Join bloggers, podcasters, journalists, publishers, communications professionals, citizen journalists and other interested collaborators for the third meeting of the Seattle Social Media Club. Representatives from a variety of local social media organizations will discuss the value of continuing the success of other national chapters here in Seattle.

Meeting Agenda

6-6:30 p.m.: Arrival, getting settled

6:30-7:30 p.m.: Roundtable discussion – “Does Seattle Need a Social Media Club?”

*Discuss what Seattle would look like without the SMC: currently has a number of related yet isolated groups that don’t have a lot of central communication. SMC could represent the interests of these different groups and act as a central space to share events, best practices, etc.

*We would like to get some ideas about what topics people would like to discuss at future meetings, how we can secure more interest in our chapter, attendees who may want to become board members, etc.

7:30-8 p.m.: Closing discussion; departure
