Immerse yourself in the world of Zorro at Peralta Hacienda Historical Park on Thursday, December 2nd. Experience Zorro's California: savor the food, dance to the music, and explore the 1870s Peralta home.

The myth of Zorro will come alive at Oakland's authentic historic site in Fruitvale, with UC Berkeley's Dr. Alex Saragoza spinning the story. Watch Douglas Fairbanks and Antonio Banderas as Zorro in the movies, and then don a mask and cape to play the part yourselves.

Zorro by Night! is a fundraiser in honor of the 25th anniversary of Friends of Peralta Hacienda Historical Park. The park includes a museum in the home of the Peralta family, and six acres of beautiful gardens and activity areas. Zorro's philosophy of justice and dignity is alive in Peralta Hacienda's programs: free after school classes, urban agriculture, inspiring adult education, and much more. Tickets begin at $25 and go up to $1,000 as part of a campaign to save Peralta Hacienda's essential neighborhood services by raising $140,000.

Friends of Peralta Hacienda Historical Park offers services that are scarce in the Fruitvale neighborhood, and experiences that are unique in the Bay Area. The museum's message is that Every Human Being Is Making History. This vision encourages youth to make positive life choices, helps Fruitvale residents reconcile differences, and inspires visitors from around the world to connect their own experiences to the fascinating story of the Bay Area. Oakland needs Peralta Hacienda Historical Park, and Peralta Hacienda needs you!

Delicious, authentic food and drinks will be served. Masks and capes provided, and costumes are welcomed.
