MUSIC
DJ's Max Blixx and Shomer Shabazz will be joining dr.ron tonight. We’ll be spinning mostly electronic music, but more soulful and spiritually influenced that you might hear at a typical House or Techno event. In addition, you can expect to hear a big Latin influence with polyrythmic beats, rather than the 4/4 - boom, boom, boom, boom that can quickly get very tedious. We’ll cycle through different energy levels as the night progresses. We typically start with Downtempo and then work our way up to Latin Lounge (more upbeat and danceable). As the energy rises we'll also spin IDM, Progressive and Tribal House.

THE SOCIAL WEB
We're using camera phones and our web site to examine the connections between virtual and physical space. Arrive at 10 pm to have your picture taken and sent to our web site instantly with SMS. In addition, we can send a voice message. If you're still at home after we open at 10 pm, check the web site to see and hear who is already there!

VIDEO PROJECTION
dr.ron will also be doing video loop mixing with both pre-recorded loops and a live camera feed. So, if you want to see yourself projected onto the big screen and have your image morphed to the pulsating beats, then please step out in front of the camera.
