Vintage & Analogic Electro-Kraut : Only Northern appearance of Zombie-Zombie who got a lot of people excited last year with the release of their album. Zombie-Zombie consist of of Etienne Jaumet, sax and a collector of vintage synthesisers and Cosmic Neman, drummer of Herman Düne. A couple of lines on monophonic synths plus some mean krautrock drums is their game. Album "A Land For Renegades" released in 2008 to pretty good reviews. "Can meets Suicide meets Cosmodrome meets LFO meets John Carpenter meets Sonic Boom. Scary" (Chronic'Art). "I really enjoyed them! Fine example of how rock and dance can be tasteful, energetic without break down the walls distorted synths or guitars. Bravo !" (Nick Chacona), "'Driving This Road' could be a lost Can anthem ! 4,5/5" DJ Mag. See the brilliant stop motion animation unoffical video of Driving this Road and homage to John Carpenter on You tube!

Working For A Nuclear Free City are one of Manchester's most mysterious and deservedly sought after bands now making a name for themselves in the USA after their South By South West appearance. The band showcase a hypnotic assortment of rock and electronic music accompanied by layers of soft vocals and the band have progressed with each successive release starting with a self titled offering in October 2006 an EP in March 2007 to their latest double album and best album of 2007 nominee 'Business Men and Ghosts'. A special band indeed worth the entry fee alone.
