We explore the place of Israel in the Jewish religion and the rise of Zionism over the last 3,000 year. Can the notion of Judaism and Israel be separated? How does it feel to live in the Diaspora with and without Israel – from history to the present? How do we reconcile the modern State of Israel, its relationship with its neighbors and the classical call of the prophets for social justice?
