Zing! the Power of Play August 20, 2011

Zing! The Power of Play features an ever-changing spectrum of activities and props that children can explore, combine and manipulate to create their own open-ended learning experiences. The different areas within the exhibit are: SHINE! Experiment with light and shadows; mix colors and textures; and explore translucent, opaque and transparent properties, ACTION! Take center stage in a theater filled with costumes, lights and props that are constantly changing and encourage creative play, TADA! Build your own monuments and structures using the popular Imagination Playground building blocks and WHOOSH! Watch as foam balls race up a tube, gaining momentum to speed down a track. Move the track pieces yourself and experience the joy of cause and effect.
