3832 Main St
Kansas City, Missouri 64111

Saturday, October 4th at ZEN (former Grand Emporium), 3832 Main Street, 10 PM to 1 AM, KC Unity 2008, in partnership with the Obama/Biden Campaign, continues its registration effort targeting Kansas City's 18-25 year old minority voters. KC Unity 2008 is a grassroots response to Senator Obama’s call to individual activism. Wednesday, October 8th is the dead-line for registering voters in Missouri. This historic election demands every eligible citizen be correctly informed of their voting rights. Every eligible voter must be given the opportunity to register. KC Unity 2008 believes it is crucial that every effort is made to locate eligible voters in the places they live and work. Therefore, we challenge all organizations to redouble their voter registration efforts in our communities east of Troost Avenue. Our goal is clear: to engage every young man and woman living in Kansas City in a conversation about the need to exercise their right to vote. WE NEED YOUR HELP IN REGISTERING THESE IMPORTANT VOTERS. Help us make Kansas City a Landmark of Freedom on November 4, 2008. THEN join us Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at CLUB DALLAS, 3844 South Noland Road, Independence, when KC Unity 2008 presents Rock the Block in 2008, a FREE concert (for 18 and up) featuring all KC talent, spotlighting the importance of registering to vote in this historic election. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Talent will include hip-hop music of HEET MOB; the R&B sounds of ALO KEY; rapper TOOTHPIC; and rapper DONTA SLUSHA with DJ BIG BABY!
