'Zamana badal gaya' is a new venture in Swatantra Theatre which will be on the floor this august .It deals with the aspect of homosexuality in the society and the problems faced by them. In day-to-day life normal people do not accept or support people with such preferances.They consider it as a certain kind of "disability" or "sickness".Where on the other side there are people who fought for rights for gays and lesbians.On deeper study it is found that Homosexuality is considered normal in most of the world's cultures. In 1973, homosexuality was removed from the list of mental disorders and declared that homosexuality is as healthy as heterosexuality. Like anyone else, however, gays and lesbians can become maladjusted when they are treated with hostility. The play is completly a comedy stuff with punches leaving long lasting impression.On the first thought we burst into laughter of a person being homosexual but on the second thought we realise the seriousness of being so.But while showcasing 'Zamana badal gaya' it makes you laugh.At the same time it makes you aware of condition of these people. K.Rathod popularly known by the name 'K' is a boss in a corporate company who is unfortunately a homosexual.The story revolves around the staff and boss 'K'in this corporate company and the story is brilliantly interwined with the story of a college going lad called Suraj who is also a homosexual and bearing the complex and suffering through it.Suraj's sister Sushma is getting married to Mohan who is been adored by Suraj.
