The Youth Orchestra (Young Intermediate Level Repertoire) has students from age 7 and older, and rehearses from 4:30 to 6:00 pm on Wednesdays, throughout the school year at Monterey High School. The Honors Orchestra (Young Advanced Level Repertoire) plays full symphonic scores and is open to students up to the age of 20 and rehearses on Wednesdays from 6:45 to 8:30pm, also at Monterey High.

Youth Music Monterey is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing high caliber music education and performance opportunities to the youth of Monterey County. The Youth and Honors Orchestras provide a unique learning opportunity for over 100 of the best student musicians in the area.
