What is it like to be a young person today? What pressures do they face? What impact do they want to have on the world? -----

At the Youth Arts Festival, more than 100 young people from nine schools across Central Texas showcase their deeply moving work, including plays, film, photography, sculpture, poetry and more. -----

** The Youth Arts Festival is for everyone: ** Artists, filmmakers, performers, photographers, writers – anyone who knows the power of creativity – will be inspired by the talent and commitment of these Austin young people. ** Teens and their parents will learn how others are facing social pressures — and how they deal with them. ** And everyone who attends will leave amazed and surprised by the powerful voices! ------

More than a display of art, the 2013 Youth Arts Festival is the culmination and final sharing of work created as part of the Creative Action program, which helps young people build social and emotional skills they'll use for the rest of their lives. -----

Don't miss this celebration of self-expression by local Austin teens!
