Youth Art Workshop: Sampling and Storytelling May 1, 2008

In this program teens work with a diverse range of artistic practices such as drawing, crafting, assemblage and public interventions. Guest DJs join in to teach "turntablism" workshops. Students will learn innovative ways of utilizing sampling concepts, popular in DJ culture, and experiment with a variety of creative processes to create their own artwork.
