‘We all want to wear the kit, but are we prepared to get it dirty’

Have you ever wondered whether you could stand up to the ultimate military challenge? This is as close to a military exercise you could get without actually signing up!!
You will be picked up outside the Prince Edward Theatre on Old Compton Street, then whisked off into the beautiful Surrey countryside. On your arrival you will be met by your instructors (all ex military) who will give you a full briefing and hand out your kit (clothes, webbing, weapons, ammunition and rations.)
From this point on you will be in the battle scenario and will move off into the no man’s land. In your individual sections you will set up patrol bases out of which you will operate. You will be shown basic field craft and tactics before launching, recce patrols, ambushes and fighting patrols. War is tough, be prepared to expect the unexpected. Once all the missions are complete then it’s into night routine (maybe even a ‘camp’ fire.)
The next day you will be faced with a number of physical challenges including raft building and the assault course before being transported back to blighty full of fresh country air, and a real sense of achievement, as well as some new ‘comrades in arms’.
