Join The Korea Society in welcoming gifted young musicians from the famed Juilliard School.

Performed by the finest and most promising musicians from the Juilliard School, The Young Visions, Young Voices series offers a fresh approach to classical music. Brian Bak(violin) launches the series with an solo violin concert. Bak, a recipient of the C.V. Starr scholarship and the Samsung scholarship award, is currently studying with Professor Hyo Kang. Bak has been a featured soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Tampa Bay Symphony, the Central Florida Philharmonic, the Chicago Chamber Orchestra, the Boca Raton Symphony, the Florida Young Artists Orchestra, and the Sewanee Festival Orchestra.

Bak’s solo evening performance will include Bach’s Violin Sonata No. 2 in A minor, Ysaye’s Violin Sonata No. 1 in G minor, Op. 27, and Paganini’s Caprice No. 24.
