In this Finnish exhibit, tradition is an important component for all three artists: Susanna Liukkonen, Pirjo Berg and Satu Nikku. Pirjo Berg combines the shredded fabric with paint on her canvas. Susanna Liukkonen's art contains mythological and spiritual elements and the female form is placed in metaphoric landscapes. In Satu Nikku's depiction of the social power structures she uses the human form of the underprivileged, helpless individuals and families broken by violence to make her point.
