What better place to practice yoga than at the U.S. Botanic Garden? Enjoy six weeks of yoga in one of DC's most treasured places. As you stretch and strengthen your body in the National Garden, you'll come to know not only the beauty that surrounds you, but also the beauty that lies within you. Each Wednesday morning, you will be led by certified teacher Kate Miller, in the practice of Anusara Yoga, a life-affirming practice that powerfully blends precise principles of alignment and balanced energetic action to support the deep spiritual intention of the heart. Each class will begin with a brief meditation, followed by warmups and yoga poses that stretch and tone the entire body on every level. The practice will conclude with a deep relaxation and short closing meditation. All levels are welcome, including brand-new beginners! Please note: You will need a yoga mat and a towel. Class will be held indoors if it rains.
