YMCA Community Wide Meeting January 17, 2006

Everyone who believes in building strong kids, strong families and strong communities is invited to attend the Northfield Area Family YMCA Community Meeting on Tuesday, January 17 at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Cafeteria.

Participants will hear from guest speaker, Tom Sisler. Tom has a lot to share with Northfield about the YMCA as he has been professionally involved with the organization for over thirty years. He was involved with the start-up of the YMCA?s in Grand Rapids, Marshall and Willmar Minnesota. Participants can expect to gain further knowledge from Tom?s experience.

This meeting will be an opportunity to learn the amazing progress the Y committee has made by raising over $130,000 in two short months for their Founders Campaign. Find out how you can join the excitement as they push to raise $400,000 by March 1, 2006. You can join a committee, host a neighborhood meeting and consider making a tax-deductible donation to the Northfield Area Family YMCA.

The Northfield Area Family YMCA was begun by a group of citizens passionate about bringing new opportunities in health, recreation and programming to Northfield.
