YFPA Member Appreciation Event --- FUN & FREE Salsa Dance Class!!! February 2, 2008

YFPA would like to thank you, our members, for your continued support of the organization over the course of the year.

To show our appreciation, YFPA invites you to take a FUN & FREE salsa dance class at San Francisco's own Roccapulo Supper Club.

YFPA encourages you to arrive at the venue between 8:00PM and 8:20PM to check-in and receive your wristband. [Note: The wristband will indicate that your costs are covered for the evening.]

The dance class promptly starts at 8:30PM and ends at 9:30PM. After the class has ended, the general evening at the club begins so you may practice what you have just learned.

FAQs:

1. Can I bring a guest? YFPA welcomes members to invite other guests to the event. However, YFPA can only cover the cost of the dance lesson for you, the member.

2. How much is the dance lesson for other guests? $10.

3. Will the dance class be private for YFPA? No. The dance class will be open to the public.

4. Do I have to already know how to dance? No. The dance class is geared toward beginners.

5. Who is teaching the dance class? Ava Apple. Ava teaches at Roccapulco every Friday and alternating Saturdays. Her very popular "Club" classes are open to everyone - from brand new beginners to intermediate level salsa dancers. She always start class by teaching "the basics", then progress to partnering, moving at a pace that everyone can keep up with. You can come to class with a partner or by yourself. Partners rotate several times during class, so everyone gets a chance to dance and practice with several different people.

6. What if I'm not a member or my membership has expired AND I want to attend the event, how do I go about becoming a member or renewing my membership? Visit yfpa.org/register to register as a YFPA member. Our Membership Committee will be notified of your membership registration and will forward an invitation to you. [Note: Due to the time sensitivity, please account for 2 business days for the invitation to be emailed to you.]
