Yerba Buena Night celebrates the neighborhood's cultural heartbeat with a free outdoor evening of music, dance, art and performances in downtown San Francisco, Saturday, October 13, 7pm-10pm. Yerba Buena Lane, Jessie Square and Yerba Buena Gardens come alive for an extraordinary evening of live American Bluegrass, Middle-Eastern Percussion and other musical performances as well as contemporary ballet and Flamenco dancing. Exciting sculptural and video art installations will be on display and a new mural will be created on site. Details are at www.ybnight.org.

Before Yerba Buena Night, kick-off the evening with a Gallery Walk from 4 pm-7 pm at one of Yerba Buena's 21 world-renowned art galleries and museums. Yerba Buena has the richest concentration of cultural institutions in San Francisco, as well as offering an enormous selection of food, drink, and entertainment. It's easy to get there. If you're driving, City Park and the Hearst Corporation are offering a special $5 flat fee at the Hearst Parking Center at 45 Third Street (vouchers available at the information booth).

The event is presented by the Yerba Buena Community Benefit District and sponsored by Target, San Francisco Examiner, San Francisco Bay Guardian, Ducca, The Westin, Yerba Buena Gardens, City Park, Hearst Corporation, Press Wine Club, and KDFC.
