San Francisco, California 94105

On Saturday, April 26, 2008, from 1-6pm, 10 art galleries in the Yerba Buena Neighborhood, San Francisco's most dynamic arts community, as well as contributing Neighborhood businesses, will again join forces to host Yerba Buena Gallery Walk. For more than 20 years, the Yerba Buena Neighborhood has been a critical component of the arts in San Francisco. Recent gallery additions have further identified this dynamic and easily accessible Neighborhood as the arts center of the city.

The Yerba Buena Gallery Walk will feature free admission and refreshments, along with ample opportunities to experience art. Visitors can utilize the easy-to-follow maps provided at each gallery or www.yerbabuena.org/GalleryWalk when touring the neighborhood for a truly interactive art experience.

This collaboration is the second undertaking by the integrated Yerba Buena Neighborhood art galleries.

"The Yerba Buena Neighborhood is the arts and culture heart of San Francisco and the Yerba Buena Gallery Walk is a great opportunity for art enthusiasts, collectors, and anyone interested in experiencing contemporary art to explore the galleries in the Neighborhood. With 10 provocative galleries within easy walking distance, there is something here for everyone." -Heather Hoell, Executive Director, Yerba Buena Alliance
