YEP Calgary Presents Action Grizzly Bear Campaign April 8, 2009

Carl Morrison, through the Sierra Club of Canada, will present on the Action Grizzly Bear Campaign.
Sierra Club of Canada, in collaboration with several other lead conservation organizations, has launched Action Grizzly Bear (AGB), a campaign that focuses on advocating for grizzly bear recovery in Alberta. We realize that political commitment is a critical element for the recovery of any Threatened or Endangered species. Through public mobilization AGB looks to foster that political will.
The discussion will focus on the status of grizzly bears in Alberta, how they are being managed, and what threats face the population.
