If your holiday sweet tooth is satisfied or even overwhelmed with the sparkling, candy-coated performances on offer at this time of year, there is a savory, salty, even spicy alternative. Its name is Yaelisa & Caminos Flamencos, and the company is presenting its 2007 home season in refreshingly intimate surroundings. It always seems strange to watch flamenco distantly, so I'm especially grateful that Yaelisa, one of our finest local flamenco advocates, is doing her best to give us a taste of a true flamenco experience. In a small theater, with cafe seating, wine and tapas, we should get close enough to feel part of the action, and that's really what it's all about. Visiting Spanish artist Andres Peña will join the excellent dancers and musicians of Caminos Flamencos, and "Jardin de Mis Sueños," or "Garden of my Dreams," will combine modern sensibility with flamenco traditions. What more could you want? -- Kitty Luce, special to SFGate
