The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JALC) is the official band for jazz at Lincoln Center. Under the leadership of Wynton Marsalis and comprising many of the finest and most versatile jazz instrumentalists today, the JALC extends the jazz tradition. Since he released his first recording in 1982, Wynton Marsalis has had a history of written works for dance, big band and small groups. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra and Wynton Marsalis' small groups will bring some of the Pulitzer-Prize winner's greatest works to life.
