As a thank you to listeners, WUWM presents this special concert to honor friends and fans of public radio and great music. The performance will feature several singer-songwriters that have been in the regular rotation of WUWM’s music programming both on Café Tonight and its second station WUWM2, The Deuce, Music 24/7. www.wuwm.com

Acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Gary Louris won fan loyalty and the respect of critics worldwide as leader (and founding member) of seminal country-roots band The Jayhawks. Louris, known for his exquisite guitar playing and prolific songwriting, made his solo album debut in February with Vagabonds.

Chicago singer/songwriter Ike Reilly (of Ike Reilly Assassination) is equally-known for his songwriting skills as he is for his Rock-N-Roll attitude. Reilly’s latest album, Poison the Hit Parade, was released in April by Rock Ridge Music.

Tickets are $8.97 (General Admission, Limited Cabaret Seating) at The Pabst Theater and The Riverside Theater Box Offices, on the web at www.turnerhallballroom.org and www.tickets.com, or by calling (414) 286-3663 or (800) 511-1552.
