Short Cuts Cinema Classics screens a faithful adaptation of Emily Brontë's Wuthering Heights (Peter Kosminsky, 1992) in the Studio Theatre.

In this faithful adaptation of the Emily Brontë classic, Ralph Fiennes plays Heathcliff, a wanderer adopted by Cathy's father, while Cathy (Juliette Binoche) is "a wild slip of a girl". Heathcliff, looked down upon by his stepbrothers, is forced to live his life as a servant.  He is further crushed when Cathy, the love of his life, marries another man, and he disappears for a number of years. When he finally returns he is full of hatred - and vengeance.
