WUMB and Berklee Fox Point Music Series: The Dwells August 5, 2012

WUMB 91.9 FM, Boston’s NPR music station, and Berklee College of Music have teamed up to present a new concert series bringing free live music to Dorchester every Sunday in August. The concerts feature Berklee student and alumni groups performing acoustic sets. Fox Point Music Series is part of Berklee Summer in the City presented by Natixis Global Asset Management. The Dwells are a vocal swirl, drenched in memorable lyrics and infectious songwriting. Members Paige Califano and Matthew Bean share a passion for performance arts and use experimentation in their music. They collaborated with sound designer Max Jeffers on their debut to develop a unique listening experience through creative recording techniques. Following in the tradition of duos like Carter-Cash and Welch-Rawlings, the Dwells weave a new stitch in the warm world of acoustic music.
