In this workshop, students used creative writing exercises and theatre-derived activities to dislodge the stories in their memories and our bodies. Oral history, culture as passed through generations, and various types of storytelling and recording were explored, including poetry, journaling and performance. Listen as they share these stories for the first time. Aimee Suzara will also be sharing pieces from her recently released chapbook, the space between.
