Writing and Illustration Class for Children December 5, 2012

On Wednesdays, December 5-February 13, from 12:00-1:30pm, the
North Country Arts Council will be offering a ten session Writing and
Illustration class for Children, grades 3 -6. Instructor, Cynthia Brownell,
is NYS certified in art education K-12 and also elementary education P-
6. She has over ten years of experience as a public school teacher
and in community youth projects.

Students will learn about and experience the pacing and sequencing
involved in creating a storyboard with images. They will end with a final
“dummy” ready for print. The class will take place in the Studio at Arts
on the Square, 52 Public Square, Watertown.

This is a perfect opportunity for youth interested in learning how to

Cost: $65 for NCAC Members. $75 for nonmembers, $5 off each
additional sibling
Materials Fee: $10 to be paid to instructor
