About the readers/performers:

Charlie Haas is the author of The Enthusiast. His writing has appeared in Esquire, New West, Film Comment, The Village Voice, Outside, The Threepenny Review, and Wet: The Magazine of Gourmet Bathing.

Janet Reitman is the author of Inside Scientology: The Story of America’s Most Secretive Religion. She's a writer for Rolling Stone Magazine, where her in-depth article about Scientology first appeared. Her writing has also appeared in in GQ, Men’s Journal, The New York Times Magazine, the Los Angeles Times Sunday Magazine, and Salon.

Justin Torres is the author of We The Animals. His work has appeared in the New Yorker, Granta, Tin House, and Glimmer Train. A graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop, he was the recipient of a Rolón Fellowship in Literature from United States Artists and is a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford.

Chiwan Choi's first book of poetry is The Flood. He has been a member of the Los Angeles Poets & Writers Collective since 1989 and his poems and essays have also appeared in numerous journals and magazines, including ONTHEBUS, Esquire, and American Book Jam in Tokyo.

Tom Coates is a product manager who has blogged at PlasticBag.org since 1999. His blog has won multiple Weblog Awards.
