Stephanie Dickinson fiction appears in the Santa Monica Review, Green Mountains Review, African-American Review, Sub-terrain, Gulf Coast and the Ontario Review, among others. Her story “A Lynching in Stereoscope” was reprinted in BEST AMERICAN 2005 NONREQUIRED READING, edited by Dave Eggers. She won Storyglossia’s 2007 Short Story Prize and Glimmer Train’s 2008 Fiction Open. Her “Lucky 7 & Dalloway” will be reprinted in NEW STORIES FROM THE SOUTH, THE YEAR’S BEST, 2008.

Stephanie will be reading from her novel HALF GIRL, recently released by Spuyten Duyvil.

Sally McElwain is the editor of "Saying Grace: Blessings for the Family Table" and the author of "To the Happy Couple: Creating a Great Wedding Toast with Style," both published by Chronicle Books.

Sally will be reading her short story: Pandora in Brooklyn.

Lawrence Shainberg's books include Ambivalent Zen, Brain Surgeon: An Intimate View of His World, and the novels Memories of Amnesia and One on One. He has had numerous essays published in the New York Times Magazine, Harper's, the Village Voice, and a Pushcart Prize-winning monograph on Samuel Beckett published in The Paris Review.

Lawrence will be reading from CRUST (Two Dollar Radio, October 2008), a ferociously potent and remarkably timely satire.
