National Day of Remembrance Event at New Haven Public Library April 23
Martin Schiller and his family lived in Poland until the outbreak of World War II in 1939. When he was nine, and after several years of hiding in the Polish countryside, Martin and his family surrendered to a labor camp undera false promise of safety. This is his story.
