WPA will be performing as a quintet - Glen Phillips, Luke Bulla, and Sean Watkins will be joined by Sebastian Steinberg (bass) and Jerry Roe (drums) Combining their skilled practice and experience in creating some of America's best alternative rock, bluegrass, country, classic rock and pop, the eight-membered band WPA is most easily referred to as a super-group. But instead of relying on the ice-cold industry expectations that come with that classification, these musicians rely on the anticipation of their own dreams. No strangers to your car stereo, WPA borrows talent from Nickel Creek, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Wilco, Elvis Costello, Fiction Family and the Jerry Douglas Band. They're just about to release their as yet unnamed debut independent album, and with sneaking shade of Caravan of Thieves' songwriting style, we know you'll be proud to watch their success skyrocket soon after sitting with them at StageOne.
