Want To Become A Guinness World-Record Breaking Guitarist?

It might just happen if you bring your guitar to the West Fest 40th Woodstock Anniversary concert held in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on October 25th. Steve Roby, Jimi Hendrix biographer, is organizing an attempt to break the record for the World’s Largest Guitar Ensemble by having 3,000 guitar players perform “Purple Haze” in tribute to Hendrix who headlined the famous 1969 concert.

• To register and be counted in the record-breaking attempt go to:

• Joining the record attempt and playing guitar will be Jimi’s brother Leon Hendrix.

Additionally, about 1,000 guitar players in the UK will join in, via satellite, and play “Purple Haze” simultaneously with those at West Fest. Details are listed here: http://www.leapingcatrecords.com/.
