Rhythms of the World features many of the cultures that first inspired the stage show STOMP and STOMP?s cast weaves together scenes in the film. Transporting audiences to stunning settings around the globe. The film closes each day of WorldBeat Cultural Center?s DAY OF THE DRUM/AFRICAN MARKETPLACE Celebration. A tribute to the legacies of two great Nigerian musicians, pioneer Babatunde Olatunji and innovator Fela Kuti. Whose music chronicles the evolution of Ancient African traditional drumming to the new Afro-Beat musical movement.
