NOW IS OUR TIME TO GROAN AND SHAMBLE FOR WORLD HUNGER!

------

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of Night of the Living Dead, a zombie gathering happened in Central London in October of last year.

WORLD ZOMBIE DAY: October 26, 2008.

A charity fundraising horror event.

World Zombie Day was a day when all fans of zombie culture could join together. This charity event was international. All of the cities involved did their bit to alleviate world hunger, and this was a first.

"The It’s Alive Show", World Record Holders for the largest zombie walk ever, spearheaded this event from the very birthplace of zombie culture, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.

We supported St Mungo's, the largest homeless charity in London: http://www.mungos.org/
