World Water Day March 21, 2009

The Southern Nevada Water Authority’s Youth Advisory Council is hosting the second World Water Day event on March 21 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Henderson Event Plaza - 200 Water Street, Henderson, Nevada 89015. This free community event will feature a 1-2 mile walk that represents the strenuous trek women and children have to travel each day to obtain safe drinking water in drought-stricken countries. The walk will start promptly at 10 a.m. Join us for live entertainment, various activity/educational booths and much more.
