World War II Recreated June 18, 2011

Take a step back in time nearly 70 years and experience World War II at the library. Visit with reenactors and see weapons, such as M1 Garands, M1 Carbines, grenades and combat knives, which were used by soldiers, sailors and airmen in the great battle between the Axis and Allies. Screenings of vintage 16mm films shot during the war will take place throughout the day.
