Everyone--from politicians to community activists--is weighing in on issues of border security, undocumented immigrants and the effect of immigration on the global environment and economy. In 2006-2007, World Savvy, an organization that educates youth about international affairs and build their skills for "global citizenship," partnered with 25 Bay Area organizations and 300 local youth to explore the significance of immigration and identity through art. This culminating exhibition of selected works reveals the depth and complexity of young people's stance on immigration and identity ands its connection to the global world.
