World Refugee Day Chicago gives voice to refugee stories, honor their lives, and raise awareness of the millions of refugees in the world who have been forced to flee their homes. Each year on June 20 to the community comes together to recognize refugees' journeys to their new homes through celebration and education. Commemorate this important day with performances from Bagwis, Fikret Rizvic, Tchaka, Il Kwa Nori, Pearls of Africa, Interfaith Refugee & Immigrant Ministries Youth Group, Burundian Dance Group and West Indian Dance Company.
