From the writer of Lionsgate's acclaimed film "Ladron Que Roba A Ladron" comes the American Latino Urban/Sci-Fi, GB2525. To premiere at the San Diego Latino Film Festival - El Mundo Extrano Showcase.

In the future, the only things that have changed... are the weapons.

In the dark, urban landscape of the future, a two year gang truce is shattered by the brutal assassination of the leader of the most powerful gang, 54th Street. Puppet (Richard Azurdia), now in command, seeks violent retaliation. The sole obstacle to an all out war is a respected gang member known as "Supa'man" (Frank Alvarez), who convinces Puppet to give him time to search out those responsible and salvage the truce. To do so, Sup' and his crew must battle time and rival gangs to ultimately discover a truth far greater than they could have ever imagined.

GB2525 was written and co-directed by Jojo Henrickson (writer of the critically acclaimed film, Ladron Que Roba A Ladron from Lionsgate) and produced by John Estrada (a 2009 Film Independent Producing Fellow) of New Legacy Entertainment. The special effects and visual look of the film were conceived by Kieron Estrada, who served as co-director, cinematographer, production designer and visual effects supervisor.

The film also features a talented and diverse cast of American Latino actors. The cast includes Frank Alvarez, Jossara Jinaro (The Devil's Rejects, Passions), Jojo Henrickson (Ladron Que Roba A Ladron), Bernie Martinez, Richard Azurdia (Weeds, Ladron...), Ruben Garfias (Get Smart's Bruce & Lloyd, Ladron...), Ricardo Molina, Gabe Martinez, Pete Pano and Oscar Torre (Cane, Ladron...).
