This is a final call to attend the inaugural event of the Vocalists' Initiative for New Opera (V.I.N.O.) to be held tomorrow (Thursday) evening at 8 PM. We are gathering at Christ & St. Stephen's Episcopal Church (120 W 69th) to present a world premiere performance (conceptualized concert reading) of Jonathan Kupper's "The Monkey's Paw." Although donations will be accepted, admission is FREE. Baritone, Dennis Blackwell; mezzo soprano, Jessica Bowers; bass-baritone, Raymond Diaz; tenor, Taylor Hargrave; and pianist/musical director, Mory Ortman will bring the piece to life.

The presence of NYC's music/opera/culture lovers at this very special event is highly valued and greatly appreciated! V.I.N.O. aims to bring new opera and musical theater of a consistently high caliber to wide audiences at low cost: plain and simple. We earnestly hope you will feel compelled to take part in it, and enjoy an evening of beautiful music and engaging theater with this fine group of performers. A reception will follow the performance at the main lobby of Brown Harris Stevens' Westside offices (BHS offices are located a short walk from the church; directions and maps will be included in the concert program).
