Robert Moses' Kin presents the world premiere of Fable & Faith, February 18-20, 2011 at the Novellus Theater, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Created by choreographer Robert Moses with playwright Anne Galjour, Fable & Faith will feature live on stage the Grammy Award-winning San Francisco Boys Chorus, under Artistic Director Ian Robertson. Described as "elegantly hip" by the San Francisco Chronicle, Robert Moses' Kin will also perform The Cinderella Principle, the company's 2010 multi-media exploration into non-traditional family structures.

Fable & Faith explores imagination, creativity and identity and investigates our current cultural climate through the metaphor of children's fables. Developed in collaboration with award-winning playwright, Anne Galjour Fable & Faith is a multi-media work for Robert Moses' Kin, known for both its social commentary and physical artistry. Designer Elaine Buckholtz will create the lighting and visual design along with videographer Ian Winter.

Providing the perfect accompaniment for this project are the voices of the San Francisco Boys Chorus' top performing group, the Concert Chorus. The approximately 45 boys of the Concert Chorus, ranging in age from 10-13, will be singing Mozart's Requiem "Lacrymosa," among other compositions, with Artistic Director Ian Robertson conducting. "It was key to involve the San Francisco Boys Chorus in this project," says Moses. "Their presence and sound bring us back to the fact that our earliest introduction into the world of myth and make-believe is as children."
