GEORGIA AQUARIUM CELEBRATES WORLD OCEANS DAY
Celebrate World Oceans Day 2010 on June 8 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Atlanta’s own ocean, the Georgia Aquarium. Georgia Aquarium is offering guests the opportunity to learn how the world’s oceans affect us every day and how to better preserve this vital resource for generations to come. Free to all Aquarium guests, the World Ocean Day celebration will be held in the grand Oceans Ballroom and will feature giveaways, crafts, activities, games and more! Also, in honor of this special holiday, the Aquarium will also celebrate the 50th birthday of Dr. Seuss’s One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish book.
