World Ocean Day Celebration June 5, 2010

STAR ECO Station Environmental Children’s Museum & Exotic Wildlife Rescue Facility will join over 800 leading aquariums, museums, zoos and conservation organizations will be celebrating with fun, inspirational and educational activities for the whole family. Learn about new scientific discovers regarding man’s impact on the oceans and how what we do here affects the Delta, SF Bay and the deep ocean. There will be engaging science experiments, water related games, arts and crafts, help paint our beautiful under the sea mural and find out what you can do to protect the oceans. Plus, tour this exotic animal rescue sanctuary and meet all the beautiful animals. Check out OPERATION DEEPWATER HAIR-IZON and help make hair booms that will be sent to the Gulf Coast the help contain and clean up the massive oil spill.
