World Environment Day June 5, 2010

Many Species. One Planet. One Future. World Environment Day (WED) 2010 is aimed to be the biggest, most widely celebrated, global day for positive, environmental action. Join Pretend City as we do our part! Activities throughout the day include:

- Become a Captain Planet Planeteer as we learn from the Captain Planet Foundation about things that we can all do to help the environment

- Learn about all of the different habitats around the world and the species who live in them through replicated environments, story times, and music

- Receive a Daily Do Something tip sheet to help you do your part to protect the planet

- Beach Clean-Ups throughout the day at our Pretend City Beach. Learn about the importance of keeping our beaches clean and the damaging effects pollution has on our oceans
