World Cup Soccer on the Big Screen - USA vs. England June 12, 2010

By definition The FIFA World Cup, occasionally called the Football World Cup or Soccer World Cup, but usually referred to simply as the World Cup, is an international association football competition contested by the men's national teams of the members of Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), the sport's global governing body. The World Cup is the most widely-viewed sporting event in the world held every four years. The event will be held this year in South Africa between June 11th and July 11th. The US Team’s first match will be against England. Come to the Lark and gather will other Soccer fans to cheer them on.
The Lark will broadcast two other World Cup games: Saturday July 10th the SEMI-FINALS and Sunday July 11th the FINALS. Both games will start at 11:30am. To reserve your seat, call the Lark Theater at 415.389-5072. Lunch, Drink and Popcorn included.
