Amador Rojas, widely recognized for his mesmerizing presence and genius choreographic style, will present for the first time outside his native Spain, his original production entitled Mandala, accompanied on stage by some of Los Angeles' top flamenco musicians.

One of Spain's foremost flamenco icons, Rojas was born into a family of gypsies in Los Palacios, just outside of Seville, Spain. At the age of 7 he met the Maestro Farruco with whom he began his dance training and by the age of 12 was performing as a soloist, creating his vision of flamenco with original choreography. He has toured the world in the theater production of Carmen, appeared as a guest artist alongside Antonio Canales the "Godfather" of flamenco, was featured as a soloist as part of the Eva Hierbabuena dance company and has received several prestigious dance awards including the 2008 Bienal de Flamenco "Artista Revelacion" and the "La Venencia Flamenca" award from La Mistela for his original work Mandala. Currently he is touring with Lola Greco and Enrique Morente in Fedra directed by Miguel Narros, one of Spain's most celebrated directors. Rojas is referred to as "a volcano that remembers Lola Flores and Carmen Amaya." This is an exclusive one-night special engagement set in an intimate venue where patrons can relish an intimate ambiance.

Mandala is a Hindu word meaning a circle or sacred space that symbolically represents the true essence of life, an eternal return of cycles where diversity joins together. Rojas celebrates this by combining Middle Eastern rhythms, percussion and classical melodies along with traditional Flamenco, where his primary motive is to unite the spiritual connection of various masters of ceremony through music and dance.
