Internationally acclaimed author, Sarah Lapido Manyika, discusses and shares her new book, In Dependence, charting new literary territory and featured by the UK's largest bookstore chain as its main book for Black History Month. In Dependence is the bittersweet and tragic love story of a young Nigerian man and the daughter of an ex-colonial officer who meet during the 1960s at Oxford University just at the dawn of the civil rights and African independence movements. Afterwards is a book signing and wine reception.
