Widely respected Ambassador Khalilzad provides an insider perspective on Afghanistan and Pakistan as the United States becomes more engaged in this region, as well as what must be done to reach peace in the entire Middle East. Serving as the 26th US Ambassador to the United Nations, Ambassador Khalilzad dealt with some of the most challenging global issues. He has been the US Ambassador to Afghanistan and Iraq where he facilitated both countries' constitutions, elections and formation of government.
