Workshop: The Business of Art During Hard Economic Times October 15, 2010

Led by art conservator and instructor, Tony Rajer, this intensive 3-day workshop will provide artists with the essential tools to develop an art business plan and marketing strategy as well as offer valuable tips from art field professionals in promoting art and prospering as an artist. Each student will be individually counseled in writing a business plan tailored to their needs. Additional topics include portfolio preparation, gallery contacts, and exhibition venues. Students are encouraged to bring examples of their work and should expect to complete homework assignments before each meeting. Participants will receive 20+ hours of contact time with the instructor and 2 weeks of online counseling following completion of the course.
