Workshop - Stories & Soups July 16, 2009

Stories & Soups at Vanilla. Age group: 3 to 6 yrs. Stories create magic and a sense of wonder at the world. Stories teach us about life, about ourselves and about others. Storytelling is a unique way for students to develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for other cultures, and can promote a positive attitude to people from different lands, races and religions. Children acquire lots of new words easily because repetition is typical for storytelling. In addition, performance skills of a narrator actively involve the listeners and they often articulate words or mime the actions together with the storyteller. Mrs. Vandana Gobind will take children to the world of princes, princesses and even to the land of the talking elephant!
